Our governance bodies

Nicole Hogg is the Secretary General of the APT, where she provides overall leadership and management of the strategy, policy, resources, external relations and communications of the APT.  Before joining the APT, Nicole had a long career at the International Committee of the Red Cross, serving in operational, legal and management positions in multiple countries and at ICRC Headquarters in Geneva, including as Deputy Head of Law. She brings expertise in human rights, international humanitarian law, disarmament and gender issues. Nicole has also worked as a litigator in Melbourne, Australia and as a research solicitor at the Law Institute of Victoria. . She holds a Law degree and an Arts degree (with a major in French) from the University of Melbourne and an LLM in international law from McGill University in Canada.  She is fluent in English and French.
