Our current work in Mexico centres on the right to access a lawyer for arrested persons. Pinpointing the challenges within the country and identifying ways to overcome them is at the core of the project. To achieve this objective, we are collaborating with Mexico’s National Preventive Mechanism, the National Association of Public Defender’s Offices and civil society.
