The Association for the Prevention of Torture has active projects across the world. In collaboration with governments, monitoring bodies, civil society and others, we aim to reduce the risks of torture and ill-treatment. No country is immune from these risks. Therefore, prevention is needed everywhere and at all times.
The APT promotes increased transparency and openness in all places of detention to improve conditions for detainees.
We work actively to prevent torture across the globe. Learn more about where we work and our featured projects below.
