Structure of the APT - Board, Bureau and Advisory Council

The international Board of the APT, elected by the annual APT General Assembly, is composed of 22 experts from 12 countries. The Board meets twice per year to approve the strategic plan and budget for the coming year and to review progress of activities. The Board also provides guidance on substantive matters that could have an impact on policies and planning. The Bureau (President, Treasurer, Secretary General and two other Board Members) meets every two months to supervise the Secretariat. Board members also contribute their expertise by participating in activities organised by the Secretariat.
